How to Apply

1

Check Beneficiary List

online

Go to pmayg.nic.in → click "Stakeholders" → "IAY/PMAYG Beneficiary" → enter your state, district, and block to see if your name is in the SECC 2011 beneficiary list.

2

Contact Gram Panchayat

offline

If your name is in the list, visit your Gram Panchayat or Block Development Officer (BDO) office. Submit Aadhaar card, bank passbook, and land documents to initiate your application.

3

Complete Geo-Tagging

offline

A government official will visit your plot to geo-tag the construction site using the AwaasApp. This is mandatory before the first installment is released.

4

Receive First Installment

online / offline

After geo-tagging and sanction, ₹40,000 is transferred directly to your bank account via DBT. Begin construction immediately — the second installment is released after the plinth level is reached.

5

Upload Construction Progress Photos

online / offline

After each stage of construction, upload photos on the AwaasApp or at the Gram Panchayat. The second (plinth level) and third (roof/completion) installments are released based on photo verification.
