TL;DR — We collect only what is necessary to run the platform. AI chat messages are never stored on our servers. If you create a citizen account, your phone number and name are stored securely in our database to manage your service requests. You can delete your data anytime.

What we do NOT collect

✕Aadhaar numbers, PAN, Voter ID, or any government ID
✕Bank account numbers, UPI IDs, or payment details
✕OTPs, passwords, or PINs — ever
✕Your chat history (stays on your device only)
✕Location data beyond country-level

What we DO collect

Anonymous analytics — which pages are visited, which schemes are searched. No personally identifiable info.
AI chat messages — sent to our AI provider to generate a response. Not stored on our servers. Processed in-memory only.
Citizen account data — if you create a citizen account via phone OTP login, we store your name, phone number, and state to manage your help requests.
Partner account data — operators who register as partners provide their name, center name, city, state, phone, and email for verification.
Contact form submissions — only if you email us or message us on WhatsApp.

Citizen & Partner Accounts

Citizen login uses phone OTP authentication. Your profile (name, phone, state) is stored in our database so you can submit and track service requests.

Partner accounts are stored securely and verified before activation. When you submit a request to a partner, that partner receives your name and phone number so they can contact you directly.

To request deletion of your citizen or partner account data, email support@nagrikai.in.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember preferences. This data never leaves your device:

• Eligibility quiz answers
• Saved schemes and document checklists
• Recent chat history

Third-Party Services

Google Gemini — powers our AI chat responses.

Tavily Search — fetches real-time info from official govt portals.

Supabase — stores schemes database, citizen profiles, and partner accounts.

Firebase — handles citizen phone OTP authentication.

Your Rights

• Use the site without creating an account
• Clear all local data from your browser anytime
• Request deletion of your citizen or partner account
• Opt out of analytics via browser Do Not Track setting
• Request a copy of data we hold about you
• Withdraw consent by deleting your account
