How to Apply
Check Eligibility on MJPJAY Portal
onlineGo to jeevandayee.gov.in → "Beneficiary Information" → enter your ration card number or Aadhaar number → check if your family is already enrolled under Category A (ration card) or Category B (general). All Maharashtra families are now covered under Category B.
Get Aadhaar Card for All Family Members
offlineAll family members who may need treatment must have Aadhaar cards. Visit your nearest UIDAI Aadhaar centre to update or get Aadhaar for elderly or children family members before a medical emergency occurs.
Visit an Empanelled Hospital
offlineFor non-emergency: check the list of empanelled hospitals on jeevandayee.gov.in → "Network Hospitals" → filter by district, specialty, or procedure → choose and visit the hospital → approach the MJPJAY help desk (present in all empanelled hospitals).
MJPJAY Help Desk Verification
offlineAt the hospital, the MJPJAY help desk officer verifies your Aadhaar biometrically and checks your eligibility on the portal. For Category A (ration card holders), verification is instant. For Category B (general), the hospital administrator approves based on Aadhaar and declaration.
Receive Cashless Treatment
offlineOnce approved, you receive cashless treatment for the procedure — the hospital directly claims from the state health assurance fund. Get a MJPJAY authorization card/slip. For critical conditions (cancer/cardiac/renal), the limit extends to ₹2.5 lakh per year with prior approval.
