Yuva Nidhi is one of five guarantee schemes launched by the Karnataka government in 2023 to provide financial assistance to unemployed educated youth in the state. Unemployed graduates receive ₹3,000/month and diploma holders receive ₹1,500/month as unemployment allowance for up to 2 years, or until they find employment — whichever is earlier. The scheme is meant to bridge the gap between graduation and first employment. Applications are made through the Seva Sindhu portal and benefits are directly transferred to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts.
