Apply Online at Shadi Anudan Portal

Go to shadianudan.upsdc.gov.in → click "Apply Online" (select category: SC/ST, General/OBC, or Minorities) → register with mobile number → fill the application form with bride and groom details, family income, date of marriage, and bank details → upload all documents → submit. Save application number.

Apply at Block / District Social Welfare Office (Offline)

Visit the Block Development Office (BDO) or District Social Welfare Officer → get Samuhik Vivah Yojana form → fill with all family details → attach income certificate, Aadhaar, age proof, caste certificate (if applicable), bank passbook → submit and get acknowledgement. Applications submitted before the district mass wedding date are given priority.

Get Registered for District Mass Wedding Event

The District Social Welfare Officer organizes Samuhik Vivah (mass wedding) events — usually 1–2 times per year — where 100+ couples get married simultaneously with government officials present. After application verification, approved couples are invited for the event. The date and venue are communicated via SMS and notice board.

Attend the Mass Wedding Ceremony

On the designated wedding day, attend the event with all original documents (Aadhaar, birth certificates, photos) → marriages are solemnized as per personal law (Hindu/Muslim/Christian) → district officials witness the ceremony → household gifts (utensils, clothes, appliances worth ₹10,000) distributed at the venue on the same day.

Receive ₹35,000 in Bank Account

After the wedding ceremony, ₹35,000 is transferred via DBT to the bride's Aadhaar-linked bank account within 7–15 working days. Track payment at shadianudan.upsdc.gov.in → "Application/Payment Status". The ₹6,000 ceremony expense is borne by the government directly.
