For the first pregnancy, ₹5,000 is transferred in 3 installments (₹1,000 + ₹2,000 + ₹2,000) upon fulfilling health conditions. For the second pregnancy if a girl child is born, an additional ₹6,000 is given as a one-time payment. As of 2026, over 3.79 crore women have benefitted.
