PM SVANidhi (PM Street Vendor's AtmaNirbhar Nidhi) is a central sector micro-credit scheme launched on 1 June 2020 by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs to support street vendors who lost their livelihoods due to COVID-19. The scheme provides collateral-free working capital loans of ₹10,000 → ₹20,000 → ₹50,000 in progressive stages on timely repayment, with a 7% annual interest subsidy credited back to the borrower's account. The scheme has been extended as PM SVANidhi 2.0 till 31 March 2030.

How to Apply

Check Your Vending Status

offline

Confirm you have a Certificate of Vending (CoV) or Identity Card from your Urban Local Body. If not, check if your name is in the ULB survey list and request a Letter of Recommendation from your ward office.

Apply Online on PM SVANidhi Portal

Go to pmsvanidhi.mohua.gov.in → "Apply Loan 10,000" → log in with Aadhaar-linked mobile OTP → fill in name, address, vending category, bank details → upload CoV/ID → submit. Application goes to nearby lenders.

Apply via Bank / MFI Branch

Walk in to any participating bank (SBI, UCO, SIDBI MFI partners) or microfinance institution with your Aadhaar, CoV/ID, bank passbook, and photo. The bank officer will help fill the application.

Enable Digital Payments

After loan disbursal, use the UPI QR code or RuPay card at your stall and pay back digitally to earn monthly cashback rewards (₹50–₹100) as incentive for digital transactions.

Repay and Upgrade Loan

Repay your ₹10,000 loan within 12 months. Timely repayment qualifies you for the ₹20,000 second loan and then ₹50,000 third loan. 7% interest subsidy is auto-credited to your account quarterly.
