Registration is free, fully online, Aadhaar-based, requires no document uploads, and gives businesses a permanent 19-digit Udyam Registration Number (URN) that never expires. As of 2026, over 5 crore enterprises are registered on udyamregistration.gov.in. Registration unlocks priority sector bank loans, government subsidies, delayed payment protection, and reservation in government tenders.
