Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana (PMMY) is a flagship scheme under the Ministry of Finance that provides collateral-free loans to non-farm micro and small enterprises through banks, NBFCs, and MFIs. Loan limits were enhanced in 2024 — now up to ₹20 lakh under the new Tarun Plus category. The scheme covers three tiers: Shishu (up to ₹50,000), Kishore (₹50,001–₹5 lakh), Tarun (₹5–₹10 lakh), and Tarun Plus (₹10–₹20 lakh for repaid Tarun borrowers).

offlineVisit any public sector bank, private bank, NBFC, or MFI with your Aadhaar, PAN, business proof, bank statements, and a brief project report (for Kishore/Tarun). Fill the MUDRA loan application form at the branch.

onlineGo to udyamimitra.in → register with your mobile → fill in business details → banks will get your application and you can track approval status online.
Loan Disbursement
offlineAfter document verification and credit assessment (2–4 weeks), the bank disburses the loan to your account. For Shishu and Kishore, a MUDRA RuPay debit card may also be issued for withdrawal.
