How to Apply
Check Eligibility (Ration Card)
offlineEnsure your name is on a Karnataka ration card either as the head of family or as the female member (housewife). If your name is not on the ration card, first get it updated at your nearest Taluk Food Office or Karnataka One Centre — this is mandatory before applying for Gruha Lakshmi.
Apply at Seva Sindhu or Karnataka One Centre
offlineVisit your nearest Seva Sindhu centre, Karnataka One centre, or Gram Panchayat digital centre → ask for Gruha Lakshmi application → fill the form with Aadhaar and ration card details → staff submits the application on the portal and gives you a reference number.
Apply Online via Seva Sindhu Portal
onlineGo to sevasindhugs.karnataka.gov.in → search for "Gruha Lakshmi" → click "Apply Online" → log in with your mobile number (Aadhaar OTP) → fill in ration card number, Aadhaar, and bank account details → submit. Save the application reference number.
Aadhaar-Bank Seeding Verification
offlineAfter application, your Aadhaar and bank account are verified by the district women and child welfare office. If your bank account is not Aadhaar-seeded, visit your bank branch to seed/link your Aadhaar to the account before or immediately after applying — otherwise payment will fail.
Receive Monthly Benefit
onlineAfter successful verification (typically 4–6 weeks), ₹2,000 is credited to your Aadhaar-linked bank account every month by the 10th of the month. Track payment status on sevasindhugs.karnataka.gov.in → "Payment Status" or by checking your bank account. For complaints, call 1902.
