How to Apply
Check Scheme on pmksy.gov.in
onlineVisit pmksy.gov.in → check your state's per-drop more-crop component → verify which crops and irrigation types are subsidised in your district.
Visit District Agriculture Office
offlineGo to your District Agriculture Office or Krishi Vigyan Kendra. Inform them you want to apply for PMKSY subsidy. They will verify your land records and register your application.
Submit Documents
offlineSubmit Aadhaar, land records (7/12 extract), bank passbook, and passport photo. SC/ST farmers submit caste certificate. Leased land farmers submit lease agreement.
Get Approval Letter
offlineDistrict Agriculture Officer issues an approval letter specifying the eligible irrigation system and subsidy amount. Do NOT purchase equipment before getting this letter — pre-purchase disqualifies the subsidy.
Purchase Equipment and Claim Subsidy
online / offlinePurchase drip/sprinkler system from an approved PMKSY vendor listed on your state portal. Submit purchase invoice and installation certificate to the agriculture office. Subsidy amount is transferred to your bank account within 30–60 days.
