How to Apply
Register on DigiLocker

Fetch Documents Automatically
onlineLog in → go to "Issued Documents" → click "Search" → type the document you need (e.g., "Aadhaar", "PAN", "Driving Licence", "Marksheet") → select the issuing authority → authenticate → the official document is fetched directly from the government database and added to your DigiLocker.
Upload Self-Uploaded Documents
onlineFor documents not issued digitally (old marksheets, property papers, medical records), go to "Uploaded Documents" → click "Upload" → upload scanned PDF/image → add document name and type. These are personal copies, not government-verified.
Share Documents with Agencies
onlineTo share a document with a bank, employer, or government office: open the document → click "Share" → enter the recipient's DigiLocker username or email → the recipient verifies via DigiLocker. Many banks, CBSE, and RTO now accept DigiLocker documents directly.
Use on Mobile for Paperless Verification
onlineDownload the DigiLocker app. For traffic police, show your DL/RC directly from the app — it is legally valid. For CBSE marksheets, show the app to colleges. The document QR code can be scanned by authorities for instant verification without internet.
