How to Apply
No Separate Application Needed

Check Your Monthly Bill
offlineReview your electricity bill every month. If your consumption is 0–200 units, your bill should show ₹0 after subsidy. If it shows 201–400 units, you pay 50% of the normal bill. If you are charged for 0–200 units, contact your DISCOM.
Apply for New Domestic Connection (If you don't have one)
offlineVisit your DISCOM office (BSES or TPDDL) → submit application for new domestic residential connection with Aadhaar, property documents, and address proof → pay connection charges → meter installed within 7 working days. Subsidy applies from first bill.
Link Aadhaar to Electricity Account
onlineVisit the BSES or TPDDL website → log in with your consumer number → update Aadhaar details. This is recommended to ensure you receive any future DBT electricity benefits directly from the government.
Dispute Resolution
online / offlineIf subsidy is not applied correctly, call BSES helpline (19123 / 19122) or TPDDL helpline (19124) → provide your consumer number → raise a complaint. Alternatively visit the DISCOM office with your bills for verification.
