Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana is a scheme by the Delhi Government that provides free pilgrimage trips to 77,000 senior citizens of Delhi aged 60+ years annually. The Delhi government bears all expenses including train/air travel, accommodation, food, and a small amount for personal expenses. One attendant aged 21 or above can accompany each senior citizen for free. Pilgrimage destinations include Vaishno Devi, Tirupati, Shirdi, Dwarka, Rameswaram, Mathura-Vrindavan, Haridwar-Rishikesh, Amritsar, and others. Applications are made at the MLA constituency office.

How to Apply
Get MLA Certificate
offlineVisit your local MLA's office or constituency camp → request a letter/certificate confirming that you reside in their constituency → MLA or authorised staff signs the certificate. This is the first mandatory step and required for all applications.
Get Medical Fitness Certificate
offlineVisit a government hospital/dispensary near you → get a medical fitness certificate confirming you are physically fit to travel. This certificate must come from a government doctor (not private clinic). Seniors with serious health conditions may be advised not to undertake the trip.

Selection and Trip Notification
